Post-Celiac Symptom Diagnosis

Disclaimer: for some reason only people with a pharmaghanda license are supposed to help with diagnoses. Not sure why, considering we do it for ourselves all the time – but, well, this isn’t meant to replace a professional diagnosis. Yay!

EXHAUSTION.

Likely cause is low B12 absorption and utilization. Remember: even if you’re overloading B12, you’re probably not absorbing anything close to most of that – and the same is true with electrolytes.

(A) IF it’s CONSTANT, all the time: it may be a B12 and/or electrolyte deficiency. I’ve found I need WAY more B12 and electrolytes than I think. I religiously put Redmond Pink Salt/Himalayan (to dissolve) salt in my water, and take electrolytes, AND take 1/4 of a Jarrow’s B12/Folate supplement (for reference, each tablet has 41,667% B12 daily value intake). I also steal my wife’s prenatal (she didn’t like the taste, lol) that has alot of B vitamins – again, every 3 hours. At least after glutening, if I don’t take my B12 every few hours, I know right away – exhausted.

(B) If it’s ONLY after eating: try Ox Bile – not to frequently, no more than once a day. Also (again, not too much) Pancreatic (Porcine) enzymes + ACV, to help lighten the pressure of your stomach, gallbladder, and pancreas.

BURNING “TOO MUCH HOT SAUCE” FEELING

Likely cause: unprocessed histamine that just sits there an inflames, due to destroyed micro-villi (which produce DAO, the enzyme that binds histamine)

To counter this, every night, take either (a) a dice-sized bite of animal kidney (cooked is fine), or (b) a DAO supplement capsule. You may need to do this for several months – up to a year, even.

BACK PAIN IN YOUR UPPER-RIGHT SHOULDER AREA

Likely cause: Gallbladder inflammation (specifically, the nerves connected to your gallbladder).

Since it’s nerves we’re talking about here, this will likely take a while to heal. In the meantime, you can try Ox Bile to help take some of the pressure off your gallbladder, and Chamomile tea before bed. Also, Milk Thistle (take as late as possible, best time is 11pm; HOWEVER, if you wake up at 3am and can’t get back to sleep, move your dose to the morning).

CENTER SPINAL PAIN

Likely cause: Duodenum damage, or pancreas inflammation.

Similar to what’s mentioned above: try DAO. You might also try pancreatic enzymes. If that helps, it’s probably pancreas-related (in that case, hot pad after eating might be helpful, to get juices flowing).

PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY (arms/legs falling asleep)

Likely cause: Nerve damage from post-glutening fallout

Again, takes a long time to heal. I’d recommend: Sauana. Massage. Low-key constant movements like walking or chores (especially after eating). DMSO. LOTS of electrolytes.

ICKY AFTER EATING

(a) IF it happens after you ate fat, try a meal with low fat, e.g. Chicken + Apples (avoid overloading sugar, e.g. smoothies, etc.) If you’re fine with that, it’s likely gallbladder – see above.

(b) if you’re NOT fine with even a low-fat meal, it could possibly be food sensitivities. Do AIP-compatible meals (look it up, it’s by far the best healing diet, better than Keto, and even Carnivore, I think). Eat small portions – it could also be just too much for a damaged digestion system (I couldn’t eat for a week, and then, for the next week, I couldn’t eat more than a golf-ball sized portion every 3-4 hours). Fast if you can – skip eating for a day.

THROWING OUT YOUR BACK

Likely cause: I’m not sure why, but if my digestive-nervous system is damaged, I throw out my back really easily. I would guess it’s because of lack of blood flow to the area caused by inflammation.

If this happens, think about using a lumbar-support pillow, and sleeping on your back on a rug, with a pillow under your knees to support.
