With this latest round of almost-certainly-synthed-up virus, I’ve noticed that allot of people had bizarre coinfections that went along with it.
I got swimmer’s ear. That’s where water gets in your ear, and a bacterial infection kicks in. In my case, within minutes. OUCH. EXTREMELY painful. Could have been a coinfection, maybe, maybe not. I’ve never gotten swimmer’s ear before, and I had heard ear infections were a common coinfection with this one. Anyways.
Here’s what I did, and it worked: I researched what the heck is this. Then, once I realized it was the wet in the ear canal that was causing the issue, I put my ear in front of the fan for about 15 minutes, drying it out. Then I put on a hoodie, and kept my ears religiously warm all night.
If I had had a hot pad, I would have put it on low heat and used that as well, inside my hoodie. But just the hoodie did enough to where, by morning, it was only a little achy, and gone by afternoon. But wow – incredibly painful.
